Since 2004 we have applied for and received funding from
the Gambling Community Benefit Fund to purchase
necessary equipment for us to carry out scouting
activities and offer quality scouting programs.
Equipment such as Canoes and Kayaks, Camping trailers,
Navigation equipment, Camping equipment etc is very
costly when purchased in large numbers. Without the
support of the Qld Gov. Gambling Community Benefit Fund
we would not be able to provide the quality programs
that we have become renowned for at BHS. However, as our
group grows as a result of this reputation – Our
equipment needs grow each year and consequently we will
continue to seek funding from this valuable source and
we anticipate and appreciate their ongoing support in
our scouting experience. The links below give insight
